I'm embarrassed to say I've lived here a year and a half and until recently hadn't been to Drake's Island in Wells. What a great discovery! My sister, niece and friend were visiting and on our way south we decided to drive around DI a bit. It was a gorgeous day with breathtaking views. We saw many dogs enjoying the scenery too including Murray who was playing with rocks while waiting for a fish to bite. It was a quick visit but we'll definitely be going back. Can't wait to take Jack and Rose for a walk on the beach!
