Linkables Dog Toys Are Fun & Challenging!

Does your dog give you big sad puppy eyes when you pull out the same ol' toys day after day? Is playing fetch just not cutting it anymore? Perhaps your pup needs a bigger challenge in the toy department. Scalawags has just added a new line of dog toys called Linkables^TMwhich we think will peak your pup's interest.

Linkables "Links" come in three unique shapes...the Orb, the Elbow and the Twist. Start with one shape and insert a few Linkables Treats...chicken flavored bits just the right size and shape for Linkables play. Encourage your pup to interact with the toy. Once he easily empties the toy, add another Link to increase the challenge. Linkables "grow" with your dog's skills. When your dog has mastered two Links, add a third, then a fourth to keep the fun going! Mix and match the Links every day to keep it interesting.

Scalawags' Customers Help Animals in Need!

A BIG THANK YOU to all of our wonderful customers who purchased a "Go Green Donation Tote" in 2009. Last week we donated $123.00 on your behalf to The Animal Welfare Society (AWS) of West Kennebunk, Maine.

Scalawags began selling these recyclable totes last year as a way to raise funds for the local animal shelter. The totes retail for $5.00 and Scalawags donates $2.50 for each bag sold. In addition to being very handy for grocery shopping or organizing household 'stuff', the Go Green Donation Tote is a traveling reminder to promote animal adoption!

Scalawags will continue to sell the Go Green Donation Tote in 2010.
